Meeting Point
Meet at the surf school base on the Sagres beachfront (look for the school's flag and instructors). Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled lesson to check in and receive equipment.

I highly recommend this surf school in Sagres! I did a couple of group lessons, the instructors take you to the best spot of the day that is suited to your level, they give you personal feedback to improve your surfing. The team were friendly, professional and awesome. A massive thank you to Lucas, Gui, Mika and Charlie!

Summary:
Great experience. I came with my daughter - 13 y/o. Neither of us had surfed before. I was a bit apprehensive before hand in case it was too difficult or I felt out of my depth with this conventionally cool pass time. I need not have worried. All the instructors were really warm and friendly and everything is pitched appropriately for your level and how quick you pick things up. There is no pressure or expectation beyond helping you and a genuine desire by the team to ensure you have a great time and develop as far as you can in the time you have.
My daughter took a couple of minor bumps from her board (which I understand is quite rare) and Jess (our instructor) was patient and caring and also had a well stocked first aid kit on hand which was reassuring. Again there was no pressure to get back in to the water until my daughter was ready which meant she bounded back and enjoyed the rest of the session.
Our only regret is that we had only allocated 1 day for a bit of a taster. If we could have added another 2 or 3 days worth of lessons to really get the hang of it that would have been perfect.
All the arrangements, disclaimers, meeting point, transportation and equipment was all well organised.
